Chad and Jim speak with veteran clown and teacher ERIC DAVIS (also known as Red Bastard) about the intersection between clown and improv, creating shows/pieces with purpose, growing as a clown as you grow (and grow older) as a human being and Eric’s fashion sense. Also, Jim finds new ways to almost ruin a show.

TOP PICK: MASTERWORK (Monday, October 24th at 9:30pm)
We don’t have a Stand Up and Clown in October 2022 at The Elysian, but we are trying an exciting new format at The Yard Theater on Monday, October 24th at 9PM. Instead of working with hapless stand-ups, Chad has booked expert clowns and will be ruthlessly pushing them to create a “masterwork” in front of the audience.
